Association agreement as a form of EU cooperation with the “third” states

The article provides complex analysis of EU cooperation with the “third” states, namely, in the form of cooperation called “Association agreements”. It is stated that this type of cooperation is aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the international actors and in future can lead to the full-fledged integration of the associate state with the European Community. The article considers the samples of “Association agreements” making with different states and regions, their content and consequences for the “third” states.
Borrowings in the Ukrainian literary language and Galician dialect

There are no facts of borrowing from the Italian language to the Galician dialect In Ukraine. This phenomenon bases the novelty of the topic. The objective of the research is to explore and scientifically prove the existence of borrowing from the Italian language to the Galician dialect. The result is to confirm the hypothesis of the existence of borrowing from Italian language to the Ukrainian Galician dialect.
Building the support models of young prisoners rehabilitation and reintegration

This paper aims to present a rehabilitation aspect of work and the need of building the support models for facilitating the labor market integration of prisoners leaving penal institutions. An innovative EU project entitled “PI model of a comprehensive system of cooperation with employers to support the market entry of young prisoners in Lublin province” was presented as an example of such integration approach.
Cultural politics of Soviet government and its influence on the activities cultural institutions of Galicia in World War II (1939–1941)

In this paper, it was considered the influence of the Soviet occupation regime on the activities of cultural institutions in Galicia in 1939–1941. It is important to study the prerequisites and consequences of the Soviet occupation of Western Ukraine, especially in Galicia, and to clarify the content and methods of propagation policies of the totalitarian regime and its influence on the cultural institutions, as they occupy an important role in the development of human society and national-patriotic education of the population. In recent decades, special attention is paid to the study of the cultural politics of occupation regimes in Ukraine, which allows to do a comparative analysis and to complement previously made conclusions.
Democratic values as the source of Ukrainian «soft power» policy

The article analyzes the significance of democratic values as an important source of Ukrainian «soft power» policy. It also investigates negative tendencies that take place at the present stage of implementation of «soft power» policy in Ukraine. Moreover, the conclusion about the necessity of accomplishing a number of conditions for a successful implementation of foreign policy strategy of «soft power» in Ukraine and also improvement image of the country in the global community has been drawn.
Documents Central State Historical Archives in Lviv as a Channel of Social Communication

The paper analyzes the archival documents of the Central State Historical Archives in Lviv as a channel of social communication. What is important for the analysis and study of military affairs, the medieval city of Lviv in the second half of the XIV–XVIII centuries. The paper presents a computerization of archives, which plays an important role in the archive as a structure of social communication, which will establish new facts in the history of the city.
Economic sanctions and U.S. foreign policy on Iran

The purpose of the study is to analyze the main foreign policy documents that form the U.S. policy of sanctions, according to the sectors of Iran’s economy that are subject of authorization from 1979 to 2012. The analysis of basic spheres of economy, which are subject sanctioning, is carried out, in accordance with the legislation of the USA for the last thirty years, the evolution of the American system of discriminatory limitations is traced in relation to Islam Republic.

From migration flows to migration systems: the case of Ukraine

The author of the article singles out countriesparticipants of migration systems with Ukraine as a source country and, by ranking them according to the selected indicators, makes the analysis of the formation and effectiveness of migration systems. As the result, an attempt to predict possible destination countries of future migration outflows from Ukraine is made.
Imagery conceptualization of the ILL BODY in postmodernist literary text

The paper focuses on the study of literary corporality, special attention being paid to the modi of conceptualization of the ILL HUMAN BODY activated in the course of imagery system formation. The conceptual analysis, that implied the process of reconstruction of conceptual metaphors in the literary text, was applied to the research of English postmodernist literary prose. The results obtained revealed the wide scope and specific ways of figurative conceptualization of the HUMAN BODY in the poetics of postmodernism.
Large and multilevel ESP class: how to deal?

How to deal with the differences between the students in the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) class? What to do if the programme space is narrow, time constraints are common, and the specialized terminology has a limited use? In this article I suggest some practical advice on training large and multilevel class drawing on my experiences of teaching ESP students through discussions, role-plays, and case studies.
Manipulation of consciousness in the context of Internet communication

It is noted that, although the Internet technologies contribute to the formation of public opinion, provide information and guidance on human values, they create new opportunities for manipulation of consciousness. This is due to the socio-cultural reference points that define certain groups of society, active in the Internet environment; sugestivnim nature of the information that appears in the selection of evidence psihologichnom pressure, the use of emotional and logical reasoning, audio-visual effects, effects on the mind. Argues that a person falling under the influence of information technology, does not differentiate rumors versions, views and facts.

NGOs in the field of politics of memory: regional dimension (comparative analysis of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil regions)

The article analyzes regional NGOs in the field of politics of memory. Presented its expanded classification that distinguishes NGOs organized by living witnesses, victims or members of certain events in the past; NGOs, whose activities are focused on the protection and restoration of certain traditions, saved by public memory; scientific, cultural and educational organizations whose activities are focused on the study and promotion of knowledge about the past; modern NGOs involved in its activities to the problems of memory; NGOs created by representatives of national minorities. The comparative analysis of associations of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil regions is carried.
Peculiarities of lingualizing the concept “magpie” (“soroka”) in M. Vinhranovskyy’s prosaic works for children

The article is dedicated to the analysis of one of the core components of the sphere of concepts “fauna” in M. Vinhranovskyy’s works for children – the concept “magpie” (“soroka”). There have been traced the main concept verbalizers, its semantics has been clarified as represented by ethnic national as well as individual senses encoded by the author, axiological markers of the studied concept have been identified.
Perspectives of transformations of the forms of international cooperation (on the example of G20’s activity)

The article investigates the specifity of development of the modern international connections in the context of the activity of the countries – members of the Group of Twenty. The purpose of the article is identifying the patterns of development and transformation of world economy, which leaks from the activity of the countries – leaders of the world. The article appraises the retrospective review and current state of effectiveness of club’s activity; it also prognosticate the future perspectives of development in cooperation between countries of G20.
