Implementation of FPGA-based pseudo-random words generator
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Opanasenko, Volodymyr; Zavyalov, Stanislaw; Sofiyuk , Olexander; Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine
A hardware implementation of pseudo-random bit generator based on FPGA chips, which use the principle of reconfigurability that allowsthe modernization of their algorithms and on-line replacement of the internal structure (reconfiguration) in the process of functioning have been considered in the paper. Available DSP blocks embedded into the structure of FPGA chips allow efficient hardware implementation of the pseudorandom bit generator through the implementation of the basic operations of multiplication with accumulation on the gate level. Using CAD ISE 14.02 Foundation and VHDL language three types of pseudo-random bit generators have been implemented on Spartan series chip 6SLX4CSG225-3, for which time and hardware expenses are represented. Using the simulating system ModelSim SE 10.1 c, timing diagrams of simulation for these structures have been obtained.

Algorithmic and software of migration of databases in hypermarket network
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Mruts, Volodymyr; Mashevska, Marta; Lviv Polytechnic National University
Possible ways and options of migrating data from existing database management systems to new ones have been analyzed in the article. Also, the main advantages and disadvantages of these methods have been considered, the common problems that may arise during migration and the standard requirements for thistype of system have been given. In the practical part, the Exact Transform Load (ETL) system has been developed with the implementation of all its functional and non-functional requirements, migrating data from the old system to the new one.

Investigation of wireless pulse oximeters for smartphone-based remote monitoring of lung health
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Melnyk, Anatoliy; Morozov, Yuriy; Havano, Bohdan; Hupalo, Petro; Lviv Polytechnic National University; The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin
Coronavirus has the greatest effect on the human lungs. This is why lungs of patients with COVID 19 require constant medical monitoring. One of the tools for the lungs condition monitoring is based on the wireless pulse oximeters connected to smartphones. The re is an attempt to analyze the types of pulse oximeters, their technical characteristics, principles of operation and basic requirements for these measuring instruments in the article. According to this study, the most effective pulse oximeters for 24/7 monitoring of lung function were selected. Principles of pulse oximeter functioning and mathematical basis of its operation have been described. The criteria for pulse oximeter selection have been determined, and comparative analysis of pulse oximeters with wireless communication has been conducted.

Ber-physical system to help moor a ship
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Grebeniak , Andrii; Lviv Polytechnic National University
A method of organizing an information cyber-physical system to assist in the mooring process has been considered in the article. It describes ways to organize the mooring of ships to the berth. The problems that occur during this operation have been listed. As the mooring process is labor intensive and depends on the human factor, a system that will provide up-to-date real-time information to facilitate the mooring operation has been regarded. The structure and stages of development of the proposed solution have been described. The features of the selected elements have been indicated. Obtaining preliminary sensory results from two ports makes it possible to begin the next stage ofsystem development.

Design and implementation of an information system for self-control of bronchial asthma by patients
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Glinka, Konrad; Melnyk, Anatoly; The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin; Lviv Polytechnic National University
The aim of this article is to develop information system for people with bronchial asthma. The main function of the information system described in the article is enabling self-control of bronchial asthma by patients. By controlling asthma correctly, patients can reduce the symptoms of asthma. The most important task solved before the information system design was a selection of the asthma parameters which can be monitored and implemented in it. The information system consists of two main elements: a database and an application. The article describes the technologies used to create these elements. Moreover, the article provides information about connection between the database and the application. The article also includes basic information about asthma and describes the information system work.

Decentralized control of adaptive data collection processes based on equilibrium concept and reinforcement learning
(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Botchkaryov, Alexey; Lviv Polytechnic National University
The model of decentralized control of adaptive data collection processes has been developed based on the equilibrium concept, which is used to study the problem of coordinating joint collective actions from the point of view of finding an effective scheme for complementing the individual actions of data collection processes in the absence of a control center. The method of decentralized control of adaptive data collection processes in autonomous distributed systems based on the equilibrium concept and reinforcement learning by the method of normalized exponential function (softmax) has been developed. The method allows one to organize autonomous distributed exploration under the conditions of dyna mic changes in the number of data collection processes and unreliable local information interaction between them. As a result of research and modeling of the developed method of decentralized control, it has been established that the use of the reinforcement learning (normalized exponential function method) provides more effective search for a solution compared to the method of adaptive random search (by an average of 28.3 %). Using the efficiency retention rate, an estimate was obtained for the dependence of the work of the developed decentralized control method on the change in the number of adaptive data collection processes and the change in the information interaction channels between adaptive data collection processes.
