Item A software service for the garbage type recognition based on the mobile computing devices with graphical data input(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Bachynskyy, Ruslan; Chaku, Oleksii; Huzynets, Nataliia; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityThe article describes problems of determining the type and automatic sorting of household waste using mobile computing devices. All of the required hardware and partially software, required for implementation of this service, are already present in modern smartphones. iOS and Apple products were selected as the base for the service, due to such advantages over competitors: dual or triple depth camera (TDCS), powerful GPU, Neural Engine coprocessor, high autonomy (2750 mAh battery size), sensors that allow for user positioning and navigation in space (GPS, Glonass, Gyroscope) and most important feature is possibility of cross-platform designing, suitable for iOS and macOS (Project Catalina). The recognition process consists of several phases, including capturing of graphic image and detecting the object shape, shape analysis, computing the results, and saving new associations to the database. The analysis itself is implemented using a neural network that is able to learn during its operation. Initially, the algorithm is driven by the selection of photographs with a certain type for the base set of associations, each subsequent scan improves accuracy. Cross-platforming plays a very important role - it allows us to develop a single software service that is initially run on a macOS-based computer for faster learning and then can be easily used on an iOS mobile device. After identifying a particular type of garbage, the route to the nearest recycling point of such type of garbage will be proposed for user or user’s clarification will be requested. User can also manually browse categories and related items, manually search by name of item, and view locations for sorting and recycling in appropriate city. When a completely unknown object arrives, it is possible to refine the information in order to help further learning of the network.Item Autonomous cyberphysical system of controlled treatment and water composition control(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Shabatura, Yuriy; Mikhalieva, Maryna; Korolko, Sergij; Odosii, Liubomyra; Kuznietsov, Oleksiy; Smychok , Vasyl; Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army AcademyAn autonomous cyberphysical adaptive system of controlled purification and control of water composition has been considered. Theoretical analysis and experimental studies of the functioning of the components of the proposed system of controlled purification and control of water composition has been performed. The proposed installation is designed to implement the technology of self-regulating system. When using intelligent digital means, it becomes an autonomous cyberphysical adaptive system of controlled purification and control of water composition.Item Parallel combining different approaches to multi pattern matching for FPGA-based security systems(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Hilgurt, Sergii; Pukhov Institute for Modelling in Energy EngineeringThe multi-pattern matching is a fundamental technique found in applications like a network intrusion detection system, anti-virus, anti-worms and other signature based information security tools. Due to rising traffic rates, increasing number and sophistication of attacks and the collapse of Moore's law, traditional software solutions can no longer keep up. Therefore, hardware approaches are frequently being used by developers to accelerate pattern matching. Reconfigurable FPGA-based devices, providing the flexibility of software and the near-ASIC performance, have become increasingly popular for this purpose. Hence, increasing the efficiency of reconfigurable information security tools is a scientific issue now. Many different approaches to constructing hardware matching circuits on FPGAs are known. The most widely used of them are based on discrete comparators, hash functions and finite automata. Each approach possesses its own pros and cons. None of them still became the leading one. In this paper, a method to combine several different approaches to enforce their advantages has been developed. An analytical technique to quickly advance estimate the resource costs of each matching scheme without need to compile FPGA project has been proposed. It allows to apply optimization procedures to near-optimally split the set of pattern between different approaches in acceptable time.Item SH-wave scattering from the interface defect(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Voytko, Myron; Kulynych, Yaroslav; Kuryliak , Dozyslav; Karpenko Physico-Mechanical Institute of the NAS of UkraineThe problem of the elastic SH-wave diffraction from the semi-infinite interface defect in the rigid junction of the elastic layer and the half-space is solved. The defect is modeled by the impedance surface. The solution is obtained by the Wiener-Hopf method. The dependences of the scattered field on the structure parameters are presented in analytical form. Verifica¬tion of the obtained solution is presented.Item Systematic mapping study on verification and validation of industrial third-party IoT applications(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Tritchkov Ivan; Siemens Corporate TechnologyThe next industrial revolution commonly known as Industry 4.0 represents the idea of interconnected manu facturing, where intelligent devices, systems and processes exchange information, resources and artifacts to optimize the complete value-added chain and to reduce costs and time-tomarket. Industrial software ecosystems are a good example how the latest digitalization trends are applied in the industry domain and how with the help of industrial IoT applications the production process can be optimized. However, the use of third-party applications exposes to a risk the systems and devices part of the manufacturing process. To address these risks a set of quality measures must be carried out in the ecosystem. This paper presents the results of a systematic mapping study carried out in the area of verification and validation of industrial IoT third-party applications. The goal of the study is to structure the scientific landscape and to provide an up-to-date snapshot of the current state of the research field.Item The algorithm of cyber-physical system targeting on a movable object using the smart sensor unit(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2020) Kushnir, Dmytro; Paramud, Yaroslav; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityIt is known that smart sensor units are one of the main components of the cyber-physical system. One of the tasks, which have been entrusted to such units, are targeting and tracking of movable objects. The algorithm of targeting on such objects using observation equipment has been considered. This algorithm is able to continuously monitor observation results, predict the direction with the highest probability of movement and form a set of commands to maximize the approximation of a moving object to the center of an information frame. The algorithm has been verified on an experimental physical model using a drone. The object recognition module has been developed using YOLOv3 architecture. iOS application has been developed in order to communicate with the drone through WIFI hotspot using UDP commands. Advanced filters have been added to increase the quality of recognition results. The results of experimental research on the mobile platform confirmed the functioning of the targeting algorithm in real-time.
