    The restriction of the input set in the form of a positive cone of the space is not always correct. For instance, while studying the organ of vision, people are limited not only to positive, but also to radiation with not very high energies, because excessively intense can disturb the visual organ. In this particular case, a convex body of a linear space is a fairly acceptable model of the set of input signals. Therefore, we consider linear predicates with this domain of definition.

    Improving image sharpness by surface recognition

    The article proposes a rule for improving image sharpness and analyzes its implementation by means of the cellular automata formalism and neural networks. It has been proved, that the previously known contrasting algorithm, which uses a template and 3x3 pixels, can be improved considerably by repeatedly applying the iterative process over templates 2x2 with the rule “anti – blur” ( C 11 = C 11 x F - ( C 12 + C 21 + +C 22) x S ) and gradient color correction at each step after the “anti – blur”.     Modeling and analysis of ink distribution in the ink printing system of the sequential-parallel structure

    In the paper, a multi-zone signal graph is constructed that corresponds to the structure of the ink printing system and reflects the process of circulating the direct and reverse ink flows. A mathematical model of the ink printing system of a sequential-parallel structure with two oscillator cylinders was developed, which describes the process of ink distribution and its transfer by elements of the ink printing system from the ink feeder device to the imprints. The model details the mathematical description of the work mode of the oscillator cylinders and the ink feeder device. On the basis of the mathematical model and the signal graph, a simulator of the ink printing system is constructed in Matlab-Simulink environment. Checking the validity of the simulation model and, accordingly, the mathematical model is based on the balance of ink's supply and selection. Based on the models of the ink printing system components, information technology is developed which makes it possible to investigate the process of ink transfer at different work modes of the oscillator cylinders. The research and analysis of the effect by the change in the value of the axial stroke of each oscillator cylinders on the ink flow distribution on the imprints at various densities of form filling with the printing elements were carried out.

    Information technology of optimized agro-biological state management of agricultural lands

    Available techniques for dealing with uncertainties in the agro-industrial complex and their use for describing and assessing the adequacy of the decisions taken are incomplete, and often ineffective, as they usually do not take into account the combination of “field-machinetechnological material”, which prevents acceptance effective solutions for managing agro-biological potential of agricultural land and, as a consequence, obtaining the maximum economic efficiency of agricultural production. Reliable estimation of variables of agricultural production parameters using the “field-machine-technological material” model makes it possible to provide optimal control of available technical equipment (machinery, sowing machines, etc.), agro-biological (humus content, presence of nutrients, micro-and macro elements, etc. in soil or plant ) and technological resources for making adequate decisions and managing agro-biological potential of agricultural lands, which will provide the necessary economic efficiency. The task is achieved by ensuring the proper quality of the implementation of technological operations that are an integral indicator of economic efficiency and allow providing the necessary economic efficiency through optimal and efficient management of technical means for optimal action on the agrobiological potential of the field and the use of available technological resources. Such control is possible with the use of information and technical systems of local operational monitoring, which are located on machine-tractor units and provide effective control of technological operations by acting on the executive bodies of agricultural machines on the basis of data characterizing the agro-biological state of the soil environment. Information and technical systems of local operational monitoring of the agro-biological state of agricultural lands are used in the following cases: – before performing a technological operation, – simultaneously with the implementation of the technological operation (sowing, fertilizer application, etc.), – during the growing season and after harvesting. This opens new prospects for organic farming using such “smart” agricultural machines.

    Modern methods of irrigation water purification by a mesh-filter using influence of low frequency vibration

    The article is devoted to the analysis of different methods of irrigation water purification from suspended particles. There have been considered the problems of irrigation water purification by using the low-frequency vibration technology and the effects arising from the influence of vibration on the water with different floating impurities. Vibration parameters that allow obtaining the effect of standing wave was substantiated. Also in the article have been disclosed the influence of low-frequency vibration on the quality of water purification depending on the types of pollution and their granulometric composition. Obtained the hydraulic characteristics of the mesh such as the effect of vibration on the pressure loss.

    Ensemble-based method of fraud detection at self-checkouts in retail

    The authors consider the problem of fraud detection at self-checkouts in retail in condition of unbalanced data set. A new ensemble-based method is proposed for its effective solution. The developed method involves two main steps: application of the preprocessing procedures and the Random Forest algorithm. The step-by-step implementation of the preprocessing stage involves the sequential execution of such procedures over the input data: scaling by maximal element in a column with row-wise scaling by Euclidean norm, weighting by correlation and applying polynomial extension. For polynomial extension Ito decomposition of the second degree is used. The simulation of the method was carried out on real data. Evaluating performance was based on the use of cost matrix. The experimental comparison of the effectiveness of the developed ensemble-based method with a number of existing (simples and ensembles) demonstrates the best performance of the developed method. Experimental studies of changing the parameters of the Random Forest both for the basic algorithm and for the developed method demonstrate a significant improvement of the investigated efficiency measures of the latter. It is the result of all steps of the preprocessing stage of the developed method use.

    Identification and analysis of learning styles of MOOC students

    t. The paper presents the results of analyzing the impact of learning styles on the success of the MOOC course. The study was based on the Kolb’s learning style questionnaire. The survey was shared among the students of software engineering MOOC course. The results of the survey were statistically analyzed. Compared the influence of different learning styles and their strength to successful completion of the course. Analyzed the strength of different learning styles among the students of different ages and different education. The results of the research show that the learning style has an impact to the course finishing success and should be considered for the effective educational program creation.

    Accessibility analysis of scientific libraries web resources

    A complex system of social and educational inclusion needs competent analysis to make it possible proper management and comprehensive improvement. To analyze one of the actual facets of such a system, namely, its ICT support, it is necessary to take into account the various needs of socially vulnerable people. A set of guidance to web accessibility is a convenient instrument, that provides various approaches in designing goods and technologies. Among other, such guidance helps to design websites with no access barriers, which is extremely important for people with special needs. To analyze the websites and different online resources, which might be of interest to a person with special needs during the social and educational inclusion, a list of characteristics was developed. It must be taken into account the classification and the structure of information materials, website`s structure, design, etc. The unification of the ICT for people, involved in educational and social inclusion, will improve informational and technological support of such process.
