Dissolution polydisperse solid phase in the gas-liquid flow
(Lviv Polytechnic Publishing House, 2016) Danylyuk, Oleh; Atamanyuk, Volodymyr; Halaniya, Oksana; Lviv Polytechnic National University
The thesis investigatesdissolution polydisperse solid phase to gas-liquid flow. In particular, a study of single particle dissolution of K2 SO 4 in a suspension and determined masstransfer coefficientβ. The scheme of the experimental setup is presented. Confirmed independence factor masstransfer the diameter of the particles during dissolution in the gas-liquid flow. Theoretical calculation dissolution of polydisperse phase based on the kinetic process model and compared with experimental data.

Reducing of energetic costs for drying process for candied pears production
(Lviv Polytechnic Publishing House, 2016) Atamanyuk, Volodymyr; Huzova, Iryna; Patrii, Nataliia; Lviv Polytechnic National University
According to calculations of the heat balance were calculated amounts of energy accumulated by pears layer and energy required to evaporate moisture. It was determined that reduce of energy costs for candied fruits drying is achieved by final drying at ambient temperature.

Diffusive transfer during filtration drying of sunflower stalks
(Lviv Polytechnic Publishing House, 2016) Kindzera, Diana; Atamanyuk, Volodymyr; Gosovkiy, Roman; Lishchyns'ka, Iryna; Lviv Polytechnic National University
Filtration method for drying rough-stalked agricultural wastes that can reduce power inputs of solid biofuel production has been studied. Diffusive mass transfer has been studied during drying of grinded sunflower stalks to produce fuel briquettes. The temperature effect on effective diffusion coefficient has been examined.

The heat transfer during the filtration drying of the grinded sunflower stems
(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2017-12-23) Kindzera, Diana; Atamanyuk, Volodymyr; Hosovskyi, Roman; Shkromyda, Mykhailo; Lviv Polytechnic National University
The stems of sunflowers can be successfully used as a raw material for solid fuel production due to their ingredients: сellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. The high concentration of above-mentioned compounds defines high calorific power of biofuel (about 20.6 MJ/kg) made from plant raw material. The fate of the costs of drying in the cost of manufacture of solid biofuels from grinded sunflower stems are large, which increases the cost of the finished product. The application of the filtration method for drying of the grinded sunflower stems makes it possible to intensify the dehydration process and to reduce energy costs.

Dissolution of solid polydisperse materials during pneumatic mixing
(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2017-12-23) Danyliuk, Oleh; Atamanyuk, Volodymyr; Bachyk, Mariia; Romanov, Vadym; Lviv Polytechnic National University
The thesis investigates dissolution of solid polydisperse materials during pneumatic mixing. In particular, a study of kinetics regularities of dissolution of C6H5COOH in water. The methods of experimentations are described. It has been experimentally established that with increasing air flow, the duration of the dissolution process is reduced. The influence of mixing applications on the dissolution process is described. The advantages of the dissolution process during the pneumatic mixing of the solution are analyzed.
