Аналізуються методологічні аспекти поняття “смерть” у контексті постмодерністської філософії і художньої літератури. Доведено, що поняття “смерть людини (автора, поета, суб’єкта)", а також опозиції “смерть-життя”, “смерть-безсмертя” тощо є лінгвістичними конструктами, що формують дискурсивні практики сучасної європейської культури. Methodological aspects of the concept of death in the context of Postmodernist
philosophy and literature are analysed. It is argued that the concept “death of a human
(author, poet, subject)” as well as oppositions “death- life”, “death-immortality” and so on are the linguistic constructs which form the practices of discourse of contemporary European culture.
