Item Солідарність, субсидіарність та загальне благо як фундаментальні принципи взаємодії людини, громадянського суспільства та держави у соціальному вченні католицизму(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2014) Волинець, ОксанаПроаналізовано соціальну доктрину католицизму та її фундаментальні принципи, які покладено в основу взаємовідносин між людиною, громадянським суспільством та державою в країнах Західної Європи, для яких притаманна розвинена демократія та високий ступінь розвитку громадянського суспільства. На основі використання структурно-функціонального, системного методів та контент-аналізу досліджено принципи особистості, солідарності, субсидіарності та загального блага. Закцентовано на характерному для розвинених демократичних країн феномені участі та перешкодах для її реалізації. Досліджено значення запропонованих католицьким суспільним вченням принципів людського співжиття у становленні громадянського суспільства та його адекватних взаємовідносинах з державою. This particular work provides the analysis of the basic principles of Social doctrine of the Catholic Church that are contained in the documents of the Second Vatican Council, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the encyclicals of John Paul II and Benedict XVI, and the works of the Catholic theologians. On the basis of systematic, structural, and functional methods, and content analysis the fundamental principles of identity, solidarity, subsidiarity, and the common good, proposed by the Catholic social doctrine, are researched. These principles are universal and can serve as foundational concepts for establishing appropriate interactions in the dimension: individual – civil society – state. The article investigates the phenomenon of participation that is characteristic of the developed democratic countries and the obstacles that stand in the way of its practical implementation. Political corruption is considered from the critical point of view. It stands as the most threatening obstacle in the human ability to realize personal rights. The author concludes that the reorganization of social and political foundations of Ukrainian society on the basis of the principles of solidarity, subsidiarity, and the common good will contribute to the establishment of appropriate relationship between individuals and state, and will become a basis for the creation of qualitatively new civil society in Ukraine.Item Роль сучасних суспільно-політичних рухів у розвитку української державності(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2014) Зубар, ВолодимирРозглянуто діяльність суспільно-політичних рухів у сучасній Україні, їх типи та функції, вплив на розвиток громадянського суспільства та демократії. Особливу увагу звернено на аналіз діяльності Народного руху України, руху «Пора», Євромайдан. The article covers the activities of social and political movements in contemporary Ukraine, their types and functions, impact on the development of civil society and democracy. The subject matter of this research is of immediate interest because social and political movements play an important role in the development of the political system, are a form of expression of people’s civil and political involvement. In democratic countries, public political movements act as an important institutional channel for engaging people in politics, forming the ruling elite, developing the state policy. The article generalizes theoretical foundations of the activities of social and political movements, specifies their structural and functional features, expands on the concept of a «social and political movement». It applies general scientific methods such as historical, comparative, structural functional methods. They allow a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of contemporary social and political movements in Ukraine, the reasons of their emergence and results of their activities. A significant empirical base has been applied, including materials from the press that allow analysis of current activities of social and political movements. The following were subject to detailed examination: special features of the functioning of transformation movements (aimed at radical changes in societies); reform movements (aimed at changing only some aspects of the existing social order); rescue movements (aimed at liberating people from such path in life that is considered as sinful), and alternative movements (intended to achieve partial change). Special focus is put on the analysis of the preceding conditions of emergence and activity of the People’s Movement of Ukraine, «Pora» Movement, Euromaidan, their functions are defined and the results of their activity and prospects of further development are shown. Successful social and political movements are transformed with time into political parties or other institutions of civil society.Item Неурядові релігійні (католицькі) організації та їх вплив на міжнародні політичні процеси(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2013) Пасічний, РоманПроаналізовано чинники впливу неурядових організацій у трансформаційному контексті розвитку сучасної системи міжнародних відносин. Показана ефективність їхнього безпосереднього впливу на складні процеси демократизації суспільств, що свідчить про перспективи подальшого зміцнення їх ролі у формуванні нової архітектури світового порядку. The article explores the influence of NGOs in the transformational context of contemporary system of international relations. In the article analyzed aggregate of factors (legal, financial, organizational), what provide influence of public on efficiency of political management. In the context of illumination of this problem the special attention is accented on constitutional norms, which assist development of civil activity through such legal mechanisms as constitutional and legislative initiatives, legislative referendums, recalls of deputies and higher public servants at regional level.Item Суспільно-політична діяльність молодіжних об’єднань у 1894–1939 рр. у Західній Україні(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2011) Плазова, ТетянаДосліджується та аналізується питання суспільно-політичної діяльності молодіжних об’єднань у 1894–1939 рр. у Західній Україні, які були втіленням духовної культури українського народу, джерелом утвердження національної свідомості, свободи особистості та свободи нації. Саме у цей період молодіжні об’єднання, які формувались переважно із студентської молоді та учнів старших класів, разом із суспільством проходили складний шлях свого внутрішнього розвитку: від невеличких громадських організацій до дієвих національно-свідомих об’єднань. Іnvestigated and analyzed the issue of socio-political activities of youth association in the years 1894–1939 in Western Ukraine, which were the embodiment of spiritual culture оf the Ukrainian people, the source of the development of national consciousness, individual liberty and freedom of the nation. During this period the youth association, which formed mostly of students and senior students, along with the public were complicated way of its internal development: from small NGOs to effective national-conscious associations.Item Особливості взаємодії політичної нації та громадянського суспільства(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2010) Луцишин, Г.Проаналізовано особливості взаємодії політичної нації та громадянського суспільства. Важливим для становлення демократичних держав у сучасних умовах залишається розвиток суспільних інститутів, які формують громадянське суспільство та сприяють розвитку політичної нації. Політична нація для громадянського суспільства потрібна насамперед як важлива консолідуюча основа. Громадянське суспільство виступає як посередник між індивідом і державою, даючи змогу кожному членові суспільства співпрацювати з державою на підставі добровільного об'єднання, зберігаючи при цьому незалежність від політичних структур. The article analyzes of cooperation of political nation and civil society. The important condition of becoming of the democratic states in modern terms is development of public institutes which form civil society and assist development of political nation. Political nation for civil society is needed foremost as consolidating basis. Civil society plays the role of mediator between an individual and state, enabling every member of society to co-operate with the state on the basis of voluntarily association, keeping independence of political structures.
