Item Statics of adsorption of anionic surfactants(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2022-03-01) Sabadash, Vira; Konovalov, Oleh; Nowik-Zając, Anna; Lviv Polytechnic National University; Academy of Jan Dlugosz in CzestochowThe paper presents the results of the study of the statics of adsorption of surface-active substances from model solutions by activated carbon and zeolite. The results of photometric determination of the concentration of anionic surfactants before and after adsorption are presented. The results of adsorption capacity calculations are presented. The experimental results using the program (Langmuir 1.03) were numerically calculated. Sorption isotherms of sodium dodecyl sulfate indicate the mechanism of monomolecular physical adsorption. A good convergence of experimental data and theoretical calculations were established, the coefficient of determination R2>0.9, the value of the Chebyshev criterion 9·10-4... 2·10-4, and the root mean square deviation equal to 0 were established.Item Obtaining and Using Substrates with Sewage Sludge(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2022-03-01) Malovanyy, Myroslav; Storoshchuk, Uliana; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityThe article is devoted to the study of the prospects of using compost with sewage sludge in the raw material for the recultivation of disturbed lands. A special installation was used for bio-composting, which allowed controlling of the process parameters. The results of bio-indication of composts obtained under different conditions of compositions of the raw material mixture are given. Based on the analysis of the results of bioindication, the optimal composition of the raw material mixture using “fresh” and “old” sewage sludge is established. An analysis of the parameters of the bio-indication process was carried out for this compost of optimal composition, which makes it possible to develop recommendations for the implementation of the process in industrial conditions.Item Simulation of ion exchange interaction kinetics in the clinoptylolite – ammonium ion system(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2021-06-01) Sabadash, Vira; Gumnitsky, Jaroslaw; Omelyanova, Sofia; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityThe kinetics of adsorption of ammonium ions under dynamic conditions has been studied. A mathematical model of the process was built. The mass transfer coefficient was calculated depending on the intensity of the change of location. It was established that ion exchange occurs in external and internal diffusion regions. The rate constants of ion exchange for the region of external and internal diffusion were calculated.Item Investigation of the processes of chemical (ACID) labilizing of clinoptilolite(Lviv Politechnic Publishing House, 2017-03-21) Troszkiy, Volodymyr; Hnativ, Zoriana; Duleba, Vasyl; Kriuchenko, Tetiana; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityThe results of research of the chemical activation process of clinoptilolite from Sokirnytskyi field are shown. As a result of the research, the effectiveness of the influence on zeolite hydrochloric and sulfuric acids are compared. It should be noted that the advantage is on the side of hydrochloric acid. It was established that the increase in the concentration of sulfuric acid and the time of zeolite processing leads only to the increase in the content of the amorphous phase. As a result of the experiment, optimal conditions for zeolite activation: reagent – hydrochloric acid, concentration of acid – 7 %, the processing time – 2 hours, phase ratio T:R – 1:2 were selected.Item Complex water treatment of agroindustrial complexes(Publishing House of Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2016) Sabadash, Vira; Gumnitsky, Jaroslav; Tyzrbir, GalynaThe aim of this work was studying the process of phosphate adsorption on natural and synthesized adsorbents such as aluminosilicates. Sorption properties of natural zeolite concerning phosphates in static and dynamic conditions were investigated. It was found that phosphates were absorbed better in an acidic environment. Zeolites based on fly ashes of Dobrotvir heat power plant were synthesized and modified. The equilibrium values of adsorption capacity were established and the proper isotherms at a temperature 20 °C were built.
