The article explores the essence of insurance company business activity category as a primary guide in determining the degree of achievement of objectives and specific tasks. Developed the model of activity analysis of insurance company, and describes the sequence of steps passing which is a necessary and sufficient condition for an fair assessment prospects and opportunities for the insurance company.
