Re-consider the distinction of liberty

Berlin in his book Four Essays on Liberty, he firstly explains historically how others define liberty and after that Berlin distinguishes liberty in two senses – negative and positive. He analyses both sense – negative and positive though he emphasizes that negative sense is a better option. In this paper an attempt has been made to analyse and reconsider the distinction between negative and positive notion of liberty.

This article dedicated to the problem of interaction between freedom and discipline from the point of view native and foreign scientists, also practiced teachers. On the base of investigation the author gets the information about primary school teacher’s views on the plot of the word “discipline” and the main wais of its formation. Methodic of asking pupils by means of pictures let us know about the level of their discipline.
