Abstract
The mathematical model of a articulated bus was developed, with the help of which it was
established that the movement of a typical articulated vehicle to a speed of 31 m / s in the absence
of control effects on the trailer wheels is stable. The use of control effects to correct the trajectory
of the trailer leads to the fact that already at a speed of 12 m / s, among the roots of the system of
equations, a positive root appears, indicating a possible oscillatory instability of the articulated
vehicle.
