Abstract

The article explores the importance of disseminating information about veterans and the role of academic sources, particularly the Journal of Veteran Studies, in highlighting the challenges of reintegrating former military personnel into civilian life. Special attention is given to the analysis of the journal's second issue of 2024, which focuses on the European experience of veteran support. The research covers various European countries and compares their approaches to care, mental health, and reintegration services. Additionally, the accessibility of web resources for veterans in different states is examined based on compliance with WCAG 2.2 standards. The conducted audit revealed significant differences between countries in terms of the accessibility of official ministry websites.
