Abstract
In the report the method of testing samples of sheet glass in the form of rectangular plates loaded with cylindrical support and punch is considered. Based on the obtained solution corresponding plane problem of elasticity determined the size of the sample to ensure a stress condition required for testing is determined. Testing of several series of samples, which confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method, is done.
