Abstract
У статті досліджено генеалогію шляхетського роду Буковських. Витоки роду сягають межі XІV–XV ст., а
його родовим гніздом стає село Буків Сяноцької землі Руського воєводства. Якщо представники нечисленного у
XV–XVII ст. роду ще не виявляли помітної в масштабах Руського воєводства господарської та суспільно-політичної
активності, то XVIII ст. стає часом, коли Буковські, в силу своїх майнових позицій і політичних впливів, увійшли
до кола регіональної еліти. У проміжок XV–XVII ст. вписався життєпис семи поколінь роду.
In the article the genealogy of the Bukovsky noble family is investigated. The origins of the family take its roots in the turn of the 14–15th centuries, which comes from Bukiv village of Sanok land in Rus province. In the 15–17th centuries the representatives of small, at that period of time, family haven't conducted noticeable economic and socio–political activity in Rus province, but starting from the 18th century the Bukovsky with the help of their property position and political influence, entered the circle of regional elites. The foundation of the rapid growth of their proprietary powers in the future and access to powerful echelons was built through the efforts of previous family generations.
