Abstract

It was investigated the possibility of the modifying of polyethylene \ terephtalate films substrates by polyaniline during chemical oxidative polycondensation under the different concentrations of aniline in 0.5 M citrate acid aqueous solution. Structure and morphology of bilateral polyaniline films on polyethylene terephtalate substrates (polyaniline / polyethylene terephtalate / polyaniline) has been studied by UVvisible and FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy methods. It is shown that polyaniline films have amorphous-crystalline structure, where polyaniline is in a state of emeraldine salt of citric acid. The morphology of the films is a combination of a smooth surface with delocalized inclusions of polyaniline dendrites.
