Abstract

Investigated the effects of the structural and mechanical heterogeneity of welding joints of aluminum alloy 1201-T on the parameters of the cyclic crack growth resistance. From metallographic studies has established that the welding joints are structurally and mechanically heterogeneous along the cross section, which leads to a change in the rate of fatigue crack propagation in each of their areas.
