Abstract
Окреслено розвиток архітектури національних театрів в Україні та у світі.
Висвітлено особливості та відмінності розвитку архітектури театрів. Встановлено нові
вектори розвитку архітектури національних театрів у майбутньому і нові типи
будівель, які відповідають сучасним вимогам динамічного розвитку світу.
The article describes the development of the architecture of national theaters in Ukraine and in the world. The features and differences of the development of the theaters' architecture are highlighted. Establishment of new vectors for the development of the architecture of national theaters in the future and new types of buildings that meet the modern requirements of dynamic development of the world. Theatre has been changing throughout the centuries but has always been an inseparable part in people’s lives and it is impossible to imagine our life without it. The changes in establishing Ukrainian theatre were made by the representatives of various cultures: Polish, German, Hungarian, Jewish, Austrian, Russian etc. Each of these cultures supplements each other and enriches with its own colouring. A big amount of theatrical buildings of various national communities is left in Ukraine. Understanding the considerable value of such heritage demands its researching and preserving. A local theatre, as a cultural institution, united the representatives of various social strata in the country thanks to its democratism. During all its time, theatrical culture had a direct influence on the formation of social opinion, style of thinking and people’s behaviours. A theatre appears in front of us as a centre of multicultural communication between different nations and therefore, it enriches a cultural achievement of the nation.
