Наукова, міжнародна і громадська діяльність Товариства у 2024 р.

Abstract

Висвітлено важливі новини в діяльності Громадської спілки “Українське товариство геодезії і картографії” (ГС “УТГК”) і Західного геодезичного товариства УТГК (ЗГТ УТГК) у 2024 р. в умовах третього року військового стану в країні. Традиційно найважливішими напрямами роботи були: професійний захист інтересів геодезичної освіти, науки і виробничої сфери країни, фахова видавнича діяльність Товариства, організація та проведення чергової традиційної МНТК “Геофорум 2024” та підтримка низки інших фахових конференцій, активна участь в роботі світового геодезичного конгресу INTERGEO 2024 в м. Штутгард (Німеччина), розширення співпраці та запровадження нових ділових контактів з FIG, CLGE, SGP та іншими громадськими організаціями, асоціаціями, товариствами, спілками, редакціями фахових журналів, а також з науковими і навчальними установами, провідними виробниками геодезичного і фотограмметричного обладнання, розроб- никами сучасних геодезичних та геоінформаційних технологій. Наведено інформацію про відзначення важливих фахових подій у світі, державі, галузі, Товаристві, в окремих колективах і нагородження найкращих фахівців заохочувальними відзнаками Товариства.

This report presents significant updates on the activities of the Public Union “Ukrainian Society of Geodesy and Cartography” (PU “USGC”) and the Western Geodetic Society of the USGC (WGS USGC) – hereinafter referred to as the Society – in 2024, during the third year of martial law in the country. Traditionally, the most well-known areas of work included: professional advocacy for the interests of geodetic education, science, and the production sector of the country; the Society’s professional publishing activities; the organization and hosting of the regular traditional International Scientific and Technical Conference “GeoForum 2024” and support for several other professional conferences; active participation in the global geodetic congress INTERGEO 2024 in Stuttgart (Germany); expansion of cooperation and establishment of new business contacts with FIG, CLGE, SGP, and other public organizations, associations, societies, unions, editorial offices of professional journals, as well as scientific and educational institutions, leading manufacturers of geodetic and photogrammetric equipment, and developers of modern geodetic and geoinformation technologies. Additionally, the report highlights the recognition of important professional events worldwide, in the country, the industry, and the Society, as well as in individual organizations, along with the awarding of the best specialists with the Society’s honorary distinctions.
