Abstract
The corrosion resistance of austenitic layer surfaced from cored wire under sublayer flux heve been
researched. The presence in the structure of the surfaced layer austenite simultaneously with 30% ferrite promotes the incresion of corrosion properties of the layer - the disappearance of local corrosion, in the layer boundaries doesn’t occur the formation of chromium carbides and reducing the tendency to form of hot cracks in the surfaced layer have been established.
