Study of sorption of Мn2+ ions by natural clinoptilolite

Abstract

Досліджено процес модифікації природного кліноптилоліту, попередньо збагаченого основним компонентом, іонами марганцю з нітратних розчинів як прекурсорів для отримання манган (IV) оксиду. Визначено значення сорбційної ємності різних фракцій кліноптилоліту щодо іонів марганцю за кімнатної температури, розраховано швидкість сорбції та константи швидкості цього процесу. Визначено вплив концентрації розчину нітрату марганцю на сорбційну здатність окремих фракцій цеоліту. Проаналізовано пе- ребіг іонного обміну між обмінними катіонами кліноптилоліту та іонами марганцю та встановлено вибірковість цього процесу.The process of modification of natural clinoptilolite, pre-enriched by the main component, with manganese ions from nitrate solutions as precursors for obtaining manganese (IV) oxide was studied. The value of the sorption capacity of different fractions of clinoptilolite with respect to manganese ions at room temperature was determined, and the sorption rate and rate constants of this process were calculated. The influence of the concentration of manganese nitrate solution on the sorption capacity of certain fractions of zeolite was determined. The course of ion exchange between the exchangeable cations of clinoptilolite and manganese ions was analyzed, and the selectivity of this process was established.
