Construction of invariant difference and discrete analogues of differential operators of high order discretization error

The paper offers the algorithm of construction of difference and discrete analogues of differential operators on the basis of invariant approximations, methodology The reciprocal Taylor's matrix of the 6-th degree has been calculated in exact figures what allows us to construct difference and discrete analogues of high order discretization errors. W adykule zapmponowano algorytm konstruowanie różnicowych i dyskretnych analogów operatorów różniczkowych na podstawie metodyki aproksymacji niezmienniczych. Odwrotna malryca Taylora 6-go stopnia zastała precyzyjnie obliczona, co pozwata skonstruować różnicowe i dyskretne analogi z błędem dyskretyzacji wysokiego stopnia.
Flux 3D application package for the analysis of thermal field in an induction heater for cylindrical charges

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki obliczeń pola temperatury w procesie nagrzewania indukcyjnego wsadów cylindrycznych od wewnątrz. Wykonano obliczenia w programie FLUX 3D metodą elementów skończonych. Obliczenia parametrów pola temperatury wykonano dla trzech różnych czasów nagrzewania. Rozkład temperatury wyznaozony został dla prądu o wartości skutecznej 2kA i czestotliwości 10kHz. (Zastosowanie programu FLUX 3D do analizy pola termicznego nagrzewnicy indukcyjnej wsadów cylindrycznych). The paper encloses the results of the numerical analysis of temperature in the induction heating device for cylindrical charges. Numerical simulation was made for three different value of the times. Temperature in the charge was calculated for current 1=2kA and frequency f=10 kHz. The haeting was simulated and analyzed in the FLUX 3D program by using of finite element method.

The methods and software for computer-based system of statistical impact diagnostics of electrical equipment

The methods and software used for the impact diagnostics of electrical equipment are discussed. These methods are based on the theory of linear stochastic processes and mathematical statistics. The vibrations of electrical equipment caused by impact excitation are considered to be multi-resonance process. Special software has been developed to estimate some parameters of such vibrations and to use this information in the determining of the actual state of electrical equipment.
Implementation of linear discriminant analysis as a feature selection technique of EEG signal for brain-computer interface

BCI systems analyze the EEG signal and translate patient intentions for simple commands. Signal processing methods are a very important step in such systems. Signal processing includes: preprocessing, feature extraction, feature selection and classification In the article authors present the results of implementing Linear Discriminant Analysis as a feature reduction tool. Systemy BCI analizują sygnał EEG i tłumaczą intencje użylkownika na proste polecenia. Ważnym elementem systemów BCI jest przetwarzanie sygnału. Przetwarzanie sygnalłu obejmuje: przetwarzanie wstępne. ekstrakcję cech, selekcje cech i klasyfikację W artykule autorzy prezentują wyniki badań z zastosowaniem Liniowej Analizy Dyskryminacyjnej jako narzędzia do redukcji cech.

Jitter investigation in dual channel simultaneous sampling measurement methods

Dual channel simultaneous sampling measurement methods of power, phase angle or impedance are highly affected by the jitter of the A/D converter. Thus it is necessary to determine the jitter in the validation procedure of a particular measurement method. The article concerns the Authors' research continuation, this time based on extended measurement setup for detailed jitter analysis, with two independent signal sources and A/D converter circuits. W dwukanałowych pomiarach próbkujących duży wpływ na wynlk pomiaru mocy, kąta fazowego, czy impedancji, może wywierać szum fazowy (jitter) przetwornika А/С. Oszacowanie wartości tego szumu jest zatem niezbędnym krokiem przy walidacji wybranej metody pomiarowej. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki kontynuowanych przez Autorów badań, w których tym razem, w celu przeprowadzenia szczegółowej analizy wykorzystano dwa niezależne żródła sygnałów i dwa układy przetworników А/С.
Temperature distribution in nanoparticle hyperthermia

In this article simulation of the electromagnetic field and temperature in human tissues is considered. First equations describing magnetic field in terms of magnetic potential A under sinusoidal excitation is derived and next distribution temperature inside human body was described, it was discussed influence of human tissue parameters on electromagnetic field and temperature.
Iterative regularization method of 3D scattering geometry reconstruction

The problem of the shape reconstruction of a scatterer from the scattered field measured outside under the illumination of an incident plane wave is considered. Theoretically, the inversion algorithm is derived using integral equation formulations together with the Newton-Kantorovich iterative regularization technique. Numerical results show that the good reconstruction is obtained with the only one wave number of the incident wave. The effects of noise on the imaging reconstruction were also investigated.

The shape reconstruction of unknown objects for inverse problems

The proposed solution of the inverse problem in the Electrical Impedance Tomography was based on a numerical scheme for the identification of the piecewise constant conductivity. The representation of the shape of the boundary and its evolution during an iterative reconstruction process is achieved by the level set function. The forward problem was solved by the finite element method. Proponowane rozwiązenie zegadnienia odwrotnego w tomografii impedancyjnej zostało oparte na algorytmach numerycznych identyfikujących obiekty o różnych konduktywnościach. Reprezentację kształtu brzegu oraz jego ewolucję podczas procesu rekonstrukcji opisuje metoda zbiorów poziomicowych. Zagadnienie proste zostało rozwiązane za pomocą metody zbiorów poziomicowych (Rekonstrukcja kształtu nieznanych obiektów w zagadnieniach odwrotnych).
Scenario based web system for numerical computations

Modern computer modeling environments are characterized by high heterogeneity. Typical simulation environment consists of several software systems satisfying different scientific, engineering and non-professional staff needs. The paper presents an architecture of a system integrating different software simulation environments and serving its computational resources as a web based system of cloud computing computations. The main application of the system is providing computational resources, through easy to use interfaces, for medical staff and electromagnetic safety engineers which are not particularly familiar with simulation methods. Artykuł przedstawia architekturę i koncepcję implementacji systemu pozwalającego na integrację heterogenicznych systemów do symulacji numerycznych. Głównym obszarem zastsowanta jest udostępnienie zaawansowanych narzędzi obliczeniowych i środowisk symulacyjnych do niewykwalifikowanych informatycznie użytkowników z dziedziny medycyny i inżyhierów zajmujących się bezpieczeństwem elektromagnetycznym. (Rozszerzalny, oparty na scenariuszach system do numerycznych obliczeń zieconych).

PAPSO algorithm for optimization of the coil arrangement

The Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is an efficient optimization algorithm for solving complex global optimization problems. However, In order to provide this algorithm to be efficient, it Is often necessary fo matte several numerical computations of the optimized function. To reduce the costs of compulations, the new Phase Angle Particle Swarm Optimization (PAPSO) algorithm was implemented In the proposed algorithm we gave up the velocity vector of particle. Instead of that the phase angle vector was introduced. The proposed algorithm was examined on four benchmark test functions and was applied far determination of the optimal geometry of the cylindrical coil arrangement. The results were then compared with performances of the standard PSO and the 6-PSO atgonthms in all cases.
Maximal margin classifiers applied to DGA-based diagnosis of power transformers

The paper addresses a modern approach to the problem of power transformer diagnosis. The method called support vector machines enables the creation of an expert system for oil transformer technical condition diagnosis. The system, which is based on real results of chromatography of gases dissolved in transformer oil (DGA), performs better than an internationally acknowledged standard – the IEC code.
Fast parametrized biorthogonal transforms

W pracy zaproponowano schemat syntezy szybkich parametryzowanych przekształceń biortogonalnych oparty o diagramy przepływowe dla szybkich przekształceń ortonormalnych i dwupunktowe biortogonalne operatory motylkowe. In this paper the authors propose the technique ot synthesis of fast parametrised biorthogonal transforms that takes advantage of data-flow graphs for calculation of fast orthonormal transforms and two-point biorthogonal butterfly operators.
Frequency symbolic models of linear parametric circuits

The methods of constructing symbolic models of linear parametric circuits in frequency domain are considered. The models introduce the systems of linear algebraic equations and are formed on the basis of nodal solution. It is considered that the circuit contains only one parametric element which is replaced with additional signal source or by frequency model of parametric element or controlled source of current.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki obliczeń składowych pola elektromegneiycznego w procesie nagrzewania indukcyjnego wsadów cylindrycznych od wewnątrz. Wykonano obliczenia w programie FLUX 3D metodą elementów skończonych. Obliczenia pola magnetycznego wykonano dla trzech różnych czasów nagrzewania. Rozkład pola magnetycznego wyznaczony został dla prądu o wartości skutecznej 2kA I częstotliwości 9835Hz (Zastosowanie programu FLUX 3D do analizy pola magnetycznego nagrzewnicy indukcyjnej wsadów cylindrycznych). Its distribution was simulated and analyzed in the FLUX 3D program by using of finite element method.
