It is known that the probability measure functor does not preserve the class of locally compact metric spaces. Therefore, it does not have its straightforward counterpart in the coarse category. We define a modified functor of probability measures on the category of proper metric spaces and coarse maps. Звідси випливає, що цей функтор не має безпосереднього аналога в грубій категорії власних метричних просторів і грубих відображень.
