Apnea detection system

In this article was developed algorithm that can give an accurate result of having apnea, a disease that causes breathing st\op for short interval at night. Together with a device that consists of an accelerometer and a control mechanism, the algorithm makes it possible to diagnose apnea yourself at home.
Estimation system of cardiovascular circulatory system state based on 24h heart rate

The goal of this research was to develop the methods and tools for the analysis of cardiovascular circulatory system states, early prediction of the probability of sudden cardiac arrest, as well as analysis of various cardiac arrhythmias based on the dynamics of the 24-hours heart rate. Using «k-means" method based on MacQueen algorithm, the automated classification of heart rate fragments was made. The most informative procedure was referring specific observation to the functional pattern and the diagnosis within it. The software for processing and analyzing output of 24h HR and generating diagnostic conclusion about existing pathologies of the circulatory system and the status of the regulatory reserves of the human body was developed.
Consolidated information resource of office documentation at Iskra corporation

The relevance of computer facilities and content management system techniques while working with the office documents is discussed. Database designing for the office documentation using an MySQL open-source software product is proposed. Besides, the importance of Internet web-site to provide to company`s information resources for users is considered. The research aims to provide more precise and adequate recommendations for the design of information system so that this system can be implemented successfully and contribute to improvements in organizational effectiveness.
Authenticity of digital images

Copyrights are a big issue these days, it is extremely easy to loose our intellectual property (in sense of digital images) and thus money, moreover it is hard to proof our rights in the court. Our digital pictures must be protected in such a manner that it should be easy to proof we are the legitimate owner of the image and it should be computationally hard to forge such proof. We present a sketch of a new solution for copyright protection of digital images using chameleon hash functions, signatures and steganography. It is an extension of previous work in this field. We introduce a probabilistic similarity method into our scheme, which convince the verifier at certain level about the owner of the picture.

Lightweight cryptography is a branch of the modern cryptography, which covers cryptographic algorithms intended for use in devices with low or extremely low resources. Lightweight cryptography does not determine strict criteria for classifying a cryptographic algorithm as lightweight, but the common features of lightweight algorithms are extremely low requirements to essential resources of target devices.
Building wireless mesh sensor networks using xbee and arduino

Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs) have used for many applications. Mesh networks are one of the wireless communication process for long indoor and outdoor areas. The goal of this study is to use advantages of the mesh networks in long areas and to observe instant sensor data via the Internet. Arduino and DigiMesh 868 MHz transceivers were used for this experiment. Finally, the results of the each sensor values were viewed from the webpage.
Application of mashup technology for dynamic integration of semi-structured data

The usage mashup-technology for the dynamic integration of semi-structured data has been considered in this paper. Architecture of web-mashup, which consists of the three parts has been described. The process of the creation the mashup-service on data level, on process level and on presentation level has been presented. Four specific search strategies that use different kinds of information for query ranking and selection have been proposed.
MatLab-Simulink model of the digital data transmission with the use of chaotic masking

The paper touches upon the topical problem of finding efficient ways to transmit hidden information and retrieve it. The use of a modified scheme of chaotic masking for messages bits of the hidden information is offered as an alternative. The information signal is a harmonic, chaotic or noise which initially modulates a digital signal, that’s why chaotic oscillations, generated by Chua’s circuit, proved to become a signal carrier. Some specific conditions for increasing signal secrecy in the channel with and without noise are investigated and reveals the possibility of information bits recovery with the help of MatLab-Simulink model.
Primary symbol recognition using scanline structural descriptions

The method for the construction of scanline linear descriptions of an object on image was proposed. Description is based on interpretation of structural links of the object elements and is stable despite object scale and movement changes. Comparison procedures of proposed descriptions were investigated, efficiency of suggested approach was confirmed by computer modelling experiments.

The article deals with the issue of American immigration act as the linguistic phenomena. The main purpose of the study is to fully analyse structure, lexis and pragmatics of American immigration acts. During the analysis the genre of immigration act was defined. Typology of terms and speech acts was suggested alongside with the dynamics in structure, lexis and pragmatics of immigration acts demonstration.
Uniform method of operative content management in the electronic content commerce systems

Image classification and retrieval by color concentration features

The method for distributed features of visual pattern extracted from intensity fragments and segments is considered. The features of intensity, pixel coordinates and mixed ones are calculated. Some main image features as well as results of similar patterns searching from known databases are presented.
Higher order spectra analysis for assessing stationarity

In this paper the new approach to investigation of signals stationarity based on parameters of bispectrum is proposed. The method was examined using simulated test signals artificially test signals with predefined nonstationarities. As test signals Gaussian noise with varying variance and mean value were proposed. Proposed bispectral characteristics are different for stationary and nonstationary signals.
System for enhancing the security of private data using public-key cryptography

This article describes the client-server system for asymmetric-keys encryption of users private correspondence in one of the most popular social network - Facebook. The system uses browser extension as a client, asymmetric-keys algorithm to implement an encryption and the server in turn serves as a public-keys distribution center for users. The system resolves three basic principles of information security - confidentiality, integrity and availability.
Using the ANSYS Workbench software for designing of the miniature unmanned aerial vehicles

The requirements for the miniature unmanned aerial vehicles which are designed for monitoring of the area in order to prevent and eliminate the natural emergencies are mentioned. ANSYS Workbench software is used for simulation the aerodynamics of the wing and determination the maximum lift angle of attack. Method of strength computing of the wing stiffening element is described.
Examination of optimal settings for a Gollman generator

The article provides the reader with the results of an examination of a Gollman generator with a fixed number of basic m-sequence generators and different values of degrees of their polynomial. The examination was conducted using NIST statistical tests. The results obtained thereby allow to optimise the settings of the generator with specified output pulse sequence settings.
