The article analyses the paradigmatic relations between Polish and Ukrainian terms on the basis of inheritance law. The phenomena of synonymic, polysemic and antonymic correlations of law terms are highlighted within the source language and hence compared to another language. The analysis was based on the theories of Polish and Ukrainian linguists.
