This article generalizes the main approaches to the definition of
linguocultural and literary concept in modern linguistics and
outlines the spheres of their common and differentiating features.
It discusses the specificity of lingual and aesthetic embodiment of
literary concepts, complexity of their semantic, semiotic and
associative development. It substantiates the necessity to apply
complex methods to literary concepts definition and modeling as
well as the importance of interdisciplinary modes of conceptual
studies.
