Item Creating cultural environment for Europe in a historical framework(Lviv Polytechnic Publishing House, 2016) Sarıguzel, Nedim; Selcuk UniversityIn modern world with the accessing knowledge so easily and faster in globalization process museums and cultural heritage sites contain a bunch of digital texts, images, audio-visual content etc. which are not accessible to computers and humans. Besides, individuals as members of their communities might be counted as natural knowledge holders for their societies and discourse constructing a society in its cultural settings. With this context individuals are the storage their own historical heritage. New technologies might overwhelmingly extracted by wisdom of individuals for forming the sheer number of items which are usually spatially and/or temporally disconnected and of different digital quality. This study will give opportunity to study and preserve European heritage by addressing the issue of data quality and interoperability. This will cause an access to bunch of data which are not tagged with adequate metadata. Another impact of this study will be improvement of perception of the rich diversity of European cultural heritage. As a result this will challenge for creating surplus value of European the society by providing humanities researchers and beneficiaries by giving answers to their questions about European cultural heritage and history.Item EU countries migration policies with external dimension(Lviv Polytechnic Publishing House, 2016) Demirbas, İ. Ferhat; Selcuk UniversityThe migration phenomena in the Mediterranean and in the Middle East have a great importance on immediate needs. For that reason EU’s migration policy should intensify cooperation with neighbour and third countries. The current situation creates an opportunity for the EU to form a robust policy for determination of the right balance in its migration policy. However this policy migration might be managed by all EU actors internal and external. In this context this study will focus on EU policy for refugees and visa. With this focus it will be tried to determine a profile for migration policy in order to make recommendations for solving migration issues in EU, neighbour countries and third countries. This study will try to come to a result focusing on sending and transit countries, and enhancing policy coherence on migration between the EU and its member states.Item Features of environmental labeling in Ukraine(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2017-12-23) Zin`ko, Ol`ga; Yavorska, Nadiya; Lviv Polytechnic National UniversityThe essence of ecological labeling and the procedure for its implementation in Ukraine and in the EU are explored. The main purpose and the necessity of environmental labeling are substantiated. The characteristics of the most popular ecolabels are given.
