Електронні бібліотеки: мультимедійна складова

Abstract

Розглянуто мультимедійні технології як фактор якісних змін інформаційного середовища електронної бібліотеки. Наголошено на провідній ролі електронних бібліотек у процесі зберігання, оброблення та поширення інформації у суспільстві ХХІ століття. Простежується вплив досвіду бібліотек з використання інформаційних технологій, як традиційних, так і автоматизованих. Визначено, що впровадження мультимедійних технологій значно підвищує значення бібліотеки в організації її електронного середовища та, зокрема, істотно удосконалює бібліотечно-інформаційний сервіс. Сформульовано завдання електронних бібліотек з інтеграцією до єдиного медіа-простору. Multimedia technology is considered as a factor of qualitative changes of informational environment of digital library. The leading role of digital libraries during storage, processing and dissemination of information in the society of the 21st century is pointed out. Also, the article shows the influence of the library experience on the use of information technology as traditional and automated. It is determined that the implementation of multimedia technology noticeableyimproves the importance of library in the organization of its digital environment and in particular, in the improvement of library informational service. The tasks of digital libraries with integration into united media space are formulated.
