Abstract
Specifications, test methods and conformity criteria for steel and polymer fibres for concrete containing in European Standards were described. Test results doing as an Initial Type Testing in laboratories of Building Research Institute were shown. It was found, that for investigated steel fibres strength requirements are performed for lower dosage than range indicated by manufacturer. In the case of polymer fibres requirements fulfilling maximum dosage demanded.
