Abstract
Висвітлено основні засоби розвитку сучасної української архітектурної школи,
виокремлено основні її проблеми.
At present, the system of architectural education in Ukraine, which has developed as a whole in the Soviet times, is undergoing a major transformation. However, this process has not yet been reflected. Ukraine, as an independent state, chose the European vector of development with its democratic principles of the hostel, but has not yet realized its enormous backwardness. If European educational institutions originate from the first universities of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, then our educational system is only from colleges of the late sixteenth century. Architectural education in the territory of Ukraine was formed as a “satellite” of Russian imperial academism, and then as a “cog” of the Soviet school. The specificity of the Ukrainian architectural system of education was not mentioned as a special phenomenon. However, in the context of a competitive market economy, the question of the uniqueness or regional authenticity of the Ukrainian School of Architecture is very acute. We try to “dress on ourselves” European “clothes” without reflecting our own social and professional processes. If in the Soviet times “stability” (which then grew into stagnation) justified the absence of innovative teaching methods (some attempts were made, for example, in the 1980s, but they did not become widespread [1]), now economic competition , increasing mobility, openness of borders, accessibility of information and the like factors put the challenge of transforming architectural education to the fore. The “ideal world” of the open and forever “principles of learning” has collapsed. Gone were the “rules of the Soviet hostel” and the iron curtain, which was replaced by the right themselves to build the trajectory of their development. The article describes the main means of development of the modern Ukrainian architectural school.
