Abstract
Qualitative differences between brief and superficial vs thoughtful and substantial depiction of an abstract and a concrete concept was investigated. First superficial sketches of abstract and concrete concepts
represent emotional or socially “prototypical” images. Depicting essential characteristics of a concept, subjects give
more individual representations, more metaphorical answers and images based on dynamic embodied patterns.
