Abstract
Knowledge is the basis of innovations that are implemented in almost all types of human activities. In these conditions, there is an intensive development of the knowledge market, the elements of the infrastructure of which are universities that produce and disseminate scientific and educational knowledge, which form the basis of food, technological, managerial social and other innovations. The purpose of the article is to systematize the types of knowledge produced and distributed by the university, as well as to develop an approach to the formation of a system of purposeful knowledge management in the process of developing and implementing its strategies for innovation development. According to the results of systematic analysis and generalization of literary sources, as well as practices of domestic and foreign universities in the management of the processes of production and use of knowledge the types of knowledge of the University are systematized in the work, disclosed their essence and content. The sources of knowledge acquisition are described in detail. It is shown which types of knowledge are obtained from each source. The directions of use of knowledge are considered. All kinds of knowledge are proposed to be considered from two positions: as a certain set of intellectual resources (intellectual capital) that expand the possibilities of innovative development of the university on the basis of their implementation in the innovation of different types; as ability to realize the potential of innovative development of the university, that is, knowledge of possible directions and ways of its effective implementation. The scheme of interaction of knowledge flows in the system of innovative development of the university is developed, the place and role of the potential of innovative development and intellectual capital of the university are specified in the process of production and use of knowledge. Levels, tasks and criteria of knowledge management are outlined. It is proved that the management of production (obtaining) and using(commercialization) of knowledge should be performed on two levels: the university as a whole, departments, as its basic units. The task and criteria of the management of knowledge at the level of the university as a whole and the level of its basic subdivisions of the departments are specified. It is shown that knowledge management should be carried out mainly at the department level, which knows the specifics of scientific and educational activities in certain areas. The organizational structure of knowledge management at the graduation department is proposed, which combines the design-matrix and “pulsating” structure, which is characterized by high flexibility and adaptability, provides the opportunity to efficiently focus resources on the most important projects of production and use of knowledge, promotes growth and implementation of the intellectual and creative potential of the department, formation of innovative-oriented corporate culture. The obtained results deepen theoretical and methodological principles of knowledge management of the modern university in the context of its innovative development create the preconditions for forming the principles of the mechanism of knowledge management of the university.
