dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with reflecting of parallel branches of a compensating series capacitor (SC) and its over-voltage protection - Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) in a transmission line for both protective relaying and fault location purposes. The presented methods of reflecting SCs&MOVs have been deeply investigated with using fault data generated with the ATP-EMTP software.uk_UA
