На основі системного підходу, структурно-функціонального методу та контент-аналізу досліджено негативний вплив матеріалістичного, утилітарного світогляду на розвиток соціально-політичної дійсності та проблему гарантування та дотримання прав людини та її гідності. This particular research analyses the Catholic Church’s position on the sources of modern universal value crisis in pluralistic societies. It has been analysed the recognition of threats to human rights, which are fraught with modern materialistic society based on the principles of utilitarianism and commercialism. They were made on the basis of a systematic approach, structural-functional analysis method and content analysis. Within this context, there was given the review of postulates in which Catholic Church gives its understanding of human rights and dignity. Exploring the observance of human values in modern society and their references, we have analysed nine aspects that are the sources of the present crisis of values. At the same time, they are causing crisis depression, which by itself calls into question the very concept of justice. We analyse the interdependence of secularization and greediness as its consequence. Also we discover the greed approach to the interpretation of the concept of universal values. It is noted that the transfer of the religious dimension of every single human being in the plane of individual choice and exclusion of religious principle of social life is not conducive to respect universal values. Meanwhile, it denies the importance of the religious factor in the formation of modern European societies. Exploring the origins of stress in modern Europe and threats to the preservation of peace, there was done the analysis of four principles of human society arising from the Catholic Church postulates which had been proposed by Pope Francis. Those can become a versatile tool to overcome the negative effects of the current crisis of values.Item Солідарність, субсидіарність та загальне благо як фундаментальні принципи взаємодії людини, громадянського суспільства та держави у соціальному вченні католицизму(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2014) Волинець, ОксанаПроаналізовано соціальну доктрину католицизму та її фундаментальні принципи, які покладено в основу взаємовідносин між людиною, громадянським суспільством та державою в країнах Західної Європи, для яких притаманна розвинена демократія та високий ступінь розвитку громадянського суспільства. На основі використання структурно-функціонального, системного методів та контент-аналізу досліджено принципи особистості, солідарності, субсидіарності та загального блага. Закцентовано на характерному для розвинених демократичних країн феномені участі та перешкодах для її реалізації. Досліджено значення запропонованих католицьким суспільним вченням принципів людського співжиття у становленні громадянського суспільства та його адекватних взаємовідносинах з державою. This particular work provides the analysis of the basic principles of Social doctrine of the Catholic Church that are contained in the documents of the Second Vatican Council, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the encyclicals of John Paul II and Benedict XVI, and the works of the Catholic theologians. On the basis of systematic, structural, and functional methods, and content analysis the fundamental principles of identity, solidarity, subsidiarity, and the common good, proposed by the Catholic social doctrine, are researched. These principles are universal and can serve as foundational concepts for establishing appropriate interactions in the dimension: individual – civil society – state. The article investigates the phenomenon of participation that is characteristic of the developed democratic countries and the obstacles that stand in the way of its practical implementation. Political corruption is considered from the critical point of view. It stands as the most threatening obstacle in the human ability to realize personal rights. The author concludes that the reorganization of social and political foundations of Ukrainian society on the basis of the principles of solidarity, subsidiarity, and the common good will contribute to the establishment of appropriate relationship between individuals and state, and will become a basis for the creation of qualitatively new civil society in Ukraine.Item Глобальні проблеми сучасності з позиції католицизму(Видавництво Львівської політехніки, 2013) Волинець, ОксанаПроаналізовано офіційну позицію католицизму, викладену у працях Римських Архієреїв щодо сучасних глобальних проблем, причин їх виникнення та можливих шляхів подолання. The development, the future and the reality of roles of religion and church in the contemporary Ukraine is being worked out of general historical and cultural traditions.
